May/June 2016

YAHOO!!! Its just about summer! (happy dance)

First off, I have to say a HUGE CONGRATS to Aaryn, Beth and KenZ (Sly and Mumbai too!) for their HUGE success at the ACTS 2 show last week! The competition was tough and they rose up to it! They each won at least 1 class with up to 13 riders in each!
We want to wish good luck to Beth and her husband Alex as they leave us for the summer for an internship in Texas. We will miss them IMMENSELY
Upcoming Events:
June 14-18 We will be at the Kathy Dorius Memorial Horse Show. Entries are due the 2nd so if you would like to come, I need your commitment by June 1st.
OHPH SUMMER SOCIAL- Date is to be determined, but this is one event you will not want to miss! The Heidel Family has graciously invited us to their home for a BBQ and games! The WHOLE family will be invited. We will be sure to follow up soon with that date!
-MY PREGNANCY PLANS-
For the month of June we will be teaching until the 21st. So that means just 3 weeks. For those that want, we will be offering an extra lesson the first week (on Friday the 10th) so that students can still get 4 lessons in for the month. If students are willing and able to come that day, I will be discounting that lesson by 5$ Talk to me if you are interested and willing! THANK YOU!
My plan as of now is to be back to work on Thursday the 7th of July. Because of the holiday the first of that week, we will be teaching Thursday (7th) morning and Friday (8th) late afternoon/evening. Please talk to me about scheduling for that week.
NEW SUMMER LESSON SCHEDULE will be effective June 6th. PLEASE EVERY ONE OF YOU CONFIRM WITH ME YOUR NEW LESSON TIME!
I understand that summer is time for vacations and other events. Please work with me to RESCHEDULE your lessons if possible. As students are required to be in weekly lessons, I hope to be able to reschedule every lesson we can. I know there are circumstances in which that just wont work, but my experience has been that when students miss lessons they fall behind and spend too much time reviewing things they have already learned.
On a side note:
Please note if you are leasing- I am no longer hiding a spare key to the tack room at the barn. You will be responsible for bringing your own key to get into the tack room.
