January 2017 Newsletter
Happy New Year! I want to thank everyone for your support in 2016 and look forward to another year of teaching, grown and success with your students and the horses!

Tess is due in less than a month! We have been cutting back a lot on her lessons, and she will stop completely when she tells us she is done. As of right now she will be moving temporarily to a new barn in South Jordan on February 1st to have her baby. Once the baby comes and is assured to be healthy and strong, we will have a field trip up to meet the new little one! Please note, students will not be allowed to go up to see the baby on their own. I will let you know when the field trip will be once we know both baby and mommy are doing well.
NEWS:
Students of the month:
Taegyn- Taegyn has been chosen by Aubrie to be her student of the month and here’s why: Taegyn gives it her all at every single lesson! She has been working hard to become more comfortable with every horse she is put on. She is very helpful and always putting her peers first! Thank you Taegyn! We are so happy you are a part of our team!
Kayla- Kayla started recently in to lessons here at OHPH, but she has several years’ experience under her belt! We are so happy to have her on our team, as she has fallen right in to place. It immediately felt like she belongs! Her previous training was in English, but since coming here, she has decided to learn Western Pleasure and has been getting to know Faxi. She is currently leasing Faxi and is getting a handle on the Western thing. Congrats Kayla!
Cass- Cass comes to lessons each week ready to work. She has been riding Shaman a lot lately and has been learning a lot from him! She also has learned to adapt and work with any horse I put her on. Cass is very kind and thoughtful and aware of those around her! She has been working on western pleasure. I am excited to see what 2017 holds in store for this girl!
